'The Show'

As the fashion weeks progress in London, Milan , New York etc. every fashionista see's that one show which is just ...'the show'. Diane Von Furstenburg was that for me. The collection was called "Rock Goddess" and in the words of Loulou de la Falaise Klossowskie it was "very very inventive". Indeed it was just that. It gave me visions of wandering freely bare foot and hair loose. As Diane said she wanted it to be "freedom of mixing, freedom of being you". I loved absolutely everything from the flowers and feather in the hair to the flowing, tumbling blouses to the evening dresses paired with oversized bags. The lace, the sunhats, the silk jackets, the beading, the prints, the fabrics the beautiful shapes... perfection. The collection was classic yet contemporary and would suit many ages. I could not have wished for a more beautiful, feminine and elegant collection.
